The Operations division is responsible for the seamless planning and execution of programs, ensuring exceptional delivery and client satisfaction. The division leads the operational strategy, overseeing all aspects from initial planning to on-site execution. By managing logistics, supplier coordination, and client communication, Operations plays a critical role in delivering successful programs that align with Cantrav’s standards of excellence.
We are seeking highly organized, detail‑oriented freelance Program Managers to support the planning, coordination, and execution of group programs throughout Canada. The contract role is ideal for an experienced operations professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end program logistics, including proposal support, budgeting, supplier coordination, and on‑site execution.
- Manage large, complex ground transportation manifests.
- Responsible for managing group activities and tours, off site venues and food and beverage management.
- Ensure smooth delivery of all program elements while maintaining exceptional client service standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local venues, tourism partners, and suppliers to support innovative and memorable program experiences.
- Provide strategic, solutions‑oriented guidance to ensure operational excellence and seamless program flow.
- Represent Cantrav professionally, upholding our reputation as trusted destination experts in the destinations we serve across Canada.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex group programs, events, or operations in tourism, hospitality, or related industries.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and accountable as a contractor while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
